Our Mission

The Westside Church of Christ congregation has worshipped at this same location since 1969. During this time we have stood firm in the belief that God desires His children to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) and our mission has always been to teach and live by the Gospel as recorded in Matthew 28:19-20.

How We Worship

Our goal in the worship service is twofold: To worship God in the way He desires and to encourage, edify and uplift one another.

Below is what you can expect in visiting our service:

• Family-integrated worship (Deuteronomy 31:12)
• A Capella congregational singing (Ephesians 5:19)
• Preaching shared among the male members (1 Corinthians 14:26-37)
• Communion service every Sunday (Acts 20:7)
• Giving through contributing to the work locally and abroad (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)
• Fellowship with warm, inviting group of believers  (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Fellowship and Community Service

We believe the church goes far beyond the weekly worship services. As such, there are several fellowship and community service events we participate in.

Below is a list of some of the activities you can be involved in:

• Group Bible Studies
• Breakfast with Brothers (1st Saturday of Month)
• Supper with Sisters (1st Thursday of Month)
• Singing at Trinity Oaks (1st Sunday of Month)
• Activity/Game Nights (Monthly)
• Gospel Revivals (2x a Year)
• Community Service Events
